The Enterprise hosted a workshop on 23 March at the  Keystone meeting, “Protection from HIV: Targeted Intervention Strategies.”  The workshop was co-chaired by Lynn Morris and Doug Richman and aimed to identify strategies to develop an initiative(s) to improve the annotation, deposition, sharing, analysis and stewardship of data in the field.  Minutes from the meeting are posted below.

LANL HIV database and the Enterprise Secretariat coorganized a meeting to discuss issues surrounding the management of the large data sets generated in the deep sequencing experiments.  GenBank’s Short Read Archive (SRA) closure, which was announced as planning for the meeting was underway, made this discussion particularly timely.
