Researchers, funders, policy makers and advocates from around the world gathered in Bangkok, Thailand for AIDS Vaccine 2011 (12 – 15 September ), the world's leading scientific conference on HIV vaccine research. The meeting was hosted by the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise, The Faculty of Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University and the Ministry of Public Health Thailand.

The hosts would like to thank conference participants, sponsors and supporters for helping to make AIDS Vaccine 2011 one of the most stimulating scientific meetings in its 11 year history.
