Travel
On this page you will find important information to plan your travel to and participation in AIDS Vaccine 2012.
About Boston
Boston is one of the United States' oldest cities, with a rich economic and social history. What began as a homesteading community, Boston has since become the economic and cultural hub of New England. Boston is best explored on foot, so bring comfortable walking shoes to explore the Freedom Trail (which links key historic sites downtown by way of a red line painted on the sidewalk), the Public Garden, the book shops and other stores of Harvard Square.
Weather
Boston's coastal climate offers four distinct seasons, with AIDS Vaccine 2012 occurring in the Fall. During this time, temperatures will be in the 60's °F/17°C. Bring a light jacket, sweater and comfortable walking shoes for touring Boston as the average temperature in September is 65°F, 18°C.
Transportation
Travelling to and around Boston is relatively easy. Boston's Logan Airport offers nonstop service to more than 72 domestic and 30 international destinations. Taxis are readily available at airports and most hotels, however, you must call ahead and reserve a pick-up if you are elsewhere in the city. Click here for additional travel information.
