HIV Envelope Protein Collaborators
First convened in January 2016, the HIV Envelope Protein Collaborators group brings together researchers working on manufacturing subunit HIV Env proteins for clinical testing of HIV vaccine candidates. A key objective is to share information and identify approaches that could accelerate or otherwise simplify efforts to bring novel subunit Env candidates into the clinic. The group discusses issues related to protein production, purification, and formulation, as well as quality assurance and regulatory challenges.
Activities of the group include:
- Maintenance of the field-wide pipeline document listing ongoing projects
- Mailing list to communicate relevant news and updates (members only)
- Quarterly teleconferences to discuss latest developments in the field (members only)
- Yearly workshops bringing together all stakeholders interested in acceleration of subunit HIV Env manufacturing (open registration)
