The suitable candidates will be a part in a small, dedicated team focused on immunological aspects of vaccine developments. Using influenza vaccine as a model, the candidates will study relationship between antigen structure and protective immunity, which is a key aspect for rational vaccine design. Shaping and maintenance of the immune repertoire and the role of innate immunity in memory formation will be investigated. The candidates will report to the CSO, with a practical supervision by a Staff Scientist Immunology. The position is for a maximum of four years (with the first year determining the suitability of the candidate) and will be concluded by PhD thesis defense.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • MSc degree (or equivalent) in biomedical sciences 
  • Eligible to work with animals (Art.9 or equivalent) desirable
